About the role

As a maintenance technician, you will work both operationally and preventively with maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of the machinery in production. The role involves both quickly addressing urgent faults and working long-term with planned improvements and maintenance work.

To succeed in this role, you need to have good knowledge of electrical and machine electronics. You should be able to read and understand electrical diagrams, troubleshoot machines, and have a good understanding of how electrical systems work. The job also involves performing repairs, replacing components, and working with electronic parts in the machinery. You do not need to be a trained electrician, but you should have an interest and understanding of electricity and mechanics.

In addition, you need to master TIG welding, especially in stainless steel, as welding work occurs in production.

You will work closely with colleagues in various roles, and your ability to communicate, collaborate, and simultaneously drive your work forward independently is crucial for the role.

The work involves shift work with alternating weeks of day shifts (07-16) and evening shifts (14.40-23).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of machines

• Planning and structuring your own tasks

• Development and improvement of machinery

• Replacement of machine parts and electronic components

• Interpretation of electrical diagrams and troubleshooting within machine electronics

• TIG welding in stainless steel

• If necessary, fetch materials and equipment (driver's license required)

We are looking for someone who has

• Extensive experience in production and maintenance

• Meritorious: experience from food production and hygiene competence

• Good electrical knowledge: reading electrical diagrams, understanding machine electronics, troubleshooting

• Experience in electronics or relevant education

• Good skills in TIG welding (stainless steel)

• Good computer skills – experience with MaintMaster or a similar system is an advantage

• Driver's license B

• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
